Flying:

Berlin is connected to a large number of major cities in Europe via direct flights. Intercontinental flights usually require a stopover in Frankfurt or Munich.

The new Berlin-Brandenburg airport is located in the southeast of Berlin. It is connected to Berlin’s city center by S-Bahn, regional railway and busses.

Driving:

The city is very well connected to the German highway network and can be reached by car from all directions. Please note that you need an environmental badge for your car because Berlin’s city center is an environmental zone into which are only vehicles with low emission are allowed.

Train

You can reach Berlin by train from all directions. The central train station Berlin Hauptbahnhof is in the city center. All train stations are well connected to public transport.
